Dilip Chaubey is the founder of DCSA and VINMICS Comic Studios boasting over 30 years of experience in illustration and teaching with a distinguished career that also includes serving as a professor at Digipen Institute of Technology in both the US and Singapore (Rated in the Top 10 Creative Schools Globally).
Mr. Dilip K. Chaubey, a Gold Medalist from BHU in 1991, is a pioneer in India’s comic industry with over 30 years of experience in illustration and teaching. Returning to India in 2022, he founded the Dilip Chaubey School of Art, India’s first comic book school, and VINMICS Comic Studios. Previously, he served as a Senior Professor in Digital Arts at an American university for 14 years. Mr. Chaubey’s illustrious career includes his tenure as an illustrator at Raj Comics, where he created iconic characters like Tiranga, Parmanu, and Fighter Toads in the 90s, contributing to over 300 comics. He has been illustrating comics since 1984. His expertise, gained from teaching internationally and his significant contributions to the Indian Comics Community, is widely recognized and revered.
